Welcome to the special city of Salamanca.
Today, you will check-in at the 4* Vincci Ciudad De Salamanca Hotel, located right in the heart of the city, where you will be staying for the next 3 nights.
As you will discover, Salamanca is a magical city located in the northwest of Spain. It’s famous for its sandstone buildings, which seem to change colours as the day goes on. In the morning they’re white, in the afternoon they turn pink and when night comes, the lights make them yellow. This daily transformation has earned it the nickname of “La Dorada” aka Golden City.
This town offers a faithful representation of the varied products that are typical of Castilian cuisine. Located in the interior of the peninsula, with a cold and dry climate, its gastronomy stands out for the excellent meats, either roasted, stewed or sausages. So, having this in mind we have decided to choose a couple of city tour experiences that could bring these characteristics directly to you.

Welcome to the first tour of your city break!
Whilst you are guided around Salamanca, you will find that this is one of the most exceptional and interesting cities in Spain. From great culture, artistic and historical elements spread throughout, your tour guide will make sure to be guiding you throughout he most emblematic monuments around the old town, including stops nearby La Plaza Mayor, La Rua street, Casa de las Conchas, Clerecía, among many others.
It's said there are two ways to visit the interior of the cathedrals. One by the most traditiona way which will be showing you the entrance through the Gate of Ramos. The other way (and this is if you are in good shape) is to visit the “Ierónimus” side, with another point of view completly.

Tapas & History Private Tour of The Golden City
As we all know, Tapas - is the Spanish way of combining the art of eating, drinking & socializing. Among these delicious Tapas, we recommend that you don't miss the special "Tortilla" combined with the local "Iberian Ham", the delicious rustic handmade sausage "Farinato" and obviously, combined with the very own local delicacy of Spanish Wine.
During this tour, you'll experience a historic Centre Tour taking you to the fascinating areas of Salamanca - joined with a relaxing pause and little bit along the way too. The main places you will visit are the Main Square, Casa Conchas, Clerecía, University, and more places which haven't been seen from your previous private tour.

Departure
Today is your last day with us in Salamanca. Please note that we can always extend your stay as desired. What we would recommend, for now, is for you to enjoy the time in this city of plateresque architecture and local cuisine for as long as you can. For at least, until your chauffeur will be ready to take you back to the airport.
