Welcome to Spain! You have arrived in Santiago de Compostela - the capital of the Galicia region and the final destination of Saint James Way. Settle down at the cosy Carris Casa de la Troya 3* Hotel with its convenient location close to the city centre. Today you can relax, walk around and await your gastronomic adventure.

Day 2

Local Cuisine Sample in Coruña and Santiago de Compostela

Today promises to be busy and super interesting! To start with, you will go to the beautiful city of Coruña and see its highlights, such as Maria Pita square, old town, local markets, the viewpoint of the San Carlos gardens and of course stop at churrería to try the best churros. Complete your visit with lunch at the local restaurant.

After the tour in Coruna, you will be back at Santiago de Compostela, relax at your hotel and go out for an evening city stroll. Your local guide will tell you lots about the local history, culture and gastronomy. The real joy will be the gourmet dinner at one of the best restaurants, where your gastronomic experience will finish with Queimada Punch.

Vigo Historic Walk and Culinary Workshop

Indulge yourself today with a visit to the city of Vigo. Starting from the city centre, your local guide will show you the main highlights and tells you many interesting facts about the city. After the introduction, you will be invited to the local chef's kitchen to participate in the traditional cooking workshop and tasty local lunch!

Day 4

Leisurely Day in Santiago de Compostela

What can be better than a day of leisure in such a beautiful city as Santiago de Compostela? The city is famous for its cathedral, that has been a pilgrimage centre for a long time. Also, Santiago de Compostela has one of the oldest universities in the world. And, as you are having a food related break in Spain, you should already know about Santiago's almond cake. This dessert is the best treat, especially after the city walk.

It is time to say goodbye to Spain, as your private chauffeur is driving you to the airport.
